On Chamagne bottles for "Négociant Manipulant" meaning whole saler or producer. I.E., that the meant Chamagne-House buys grapes, produces Chamagne and sells it under its name.

This name used for Cognac and Armagnac describes the age of at least 5 years. It is not allowed to use the name for German products.
